Goodbye Cassini😯....

You may have heard about Cassini's last week is going on and you may have how it really gave a great contribution to science. If you haven't known about at all so don't worry because I am going to talk about that legendary satellite which really changed the viewpoint of seeing space as an option.

I have engaged myself to post a blogpost which I have named as "Top 10 legends of Space". Unfortunately I haven't yet completed that post but when I heard about last week of Cassini ,which was one of my legends, I got surprised and shocked which made me to say a goodbye to Cassini by this blogpost. So let's get started!

INTRODUCTION TO CASSINI

Cassini Spacecraft orbitting around Saturn
Cassini is an unmanned spacecraft which was launched in years of 1997 that is 15 October, 1997. Its full name is 'Cassini-Huygens' Spacecraft which was made to explore the secrets of ringed planet Saturn. The name it got is named on the names of 2 astronomers Giovanni Cassini and Christiaan Huygens. Actually the Cassini-Huygens Spacecraft consisted of an orbiter originally called Cassini an a lander called Huygens. It is unmanned robotic spacecraft designed by NASA and ESA with a cost up to $ 3 billion dollars. It is designed to flyby the harsh conditions around Saturn. Cassini consisted of a lander called Huygens which became first lander to land successfully on surface of Titan on January 14, 2005. Cassini separated off from Huygens and keep on exploring the rings of Saturn and its moons.

What were its objectives? Did it become successful?

The major objectives of Cassini were:-The study of Saturn and its satellite and ring system is a key element for decoding several primary processes in the evolution of a planetary system and in particular that of the most complex one of the gaseous planets. The Cassini mission with its scientific instruments has enabled us to deepen our knowledge of the composition, structure and physical properties and dynamics of the bodies that make up the Saturn system. The Moons of Saturn like Titan and Enceladus really could have been a mystery to us till now without Cassini's mission. With the development in field of cosmology and space travel, Cassini's should also be at top ones because Cassini has now started a series of wonderful breakthroughs going to be take place in future. Enceladus ice plumes may have showed us the presence of water and organic form of matter and ultimately the presence of life. Cassini has opened a new door to cosmology. We must get inspirations from it because we ,humans have been absorbers of values and inspirations that's why we have reached at that levels that we can do much more better than ever before.
Finally I'd say that Cassini Space Mission is a really successful that have landed its lander on second largest moon i.e Titan and also find some fingerprints of life in outer solar system. It's really adventurous story for one to listen.☺

Now, what would happen to Cassini?

Cassini is now flying over the Saturn's rings and till September 15th, it will enter in its atmosphere. Its antennas would be directed towards the Earth so that information about Saturn could be transferred after entering in Saturn's atmosphere. Now it's the time 8th September and now Cassini power would not be enough and sadly it will not complete its 20th birthday. Scientists have consulted about Cassini finale and they have decided to end Cassini as fiery death on Saturn so that debris of Cassini wouldn't harm the teeming life on any of its moon like Enceladus. Cassini is truly legend of space and I salute to all those breakthroughs which revealed such a technology which really made us to wonder about our universe.
Watch this video that how Cassini would meet its final fate:

What's the conclusion? How do we truly inspared from Cassini? How do Cassini become immortal?

Cassini has been a source of wonderful discoveries and adventures. Cassini will reach its final fate by a fiery death.(Truly I feel sad for that😢 but machine has no feelings) Cassini has given us inspirations to yong minds as well. The most interesting news that Cassini revealed is life on outer solar system. Huygens truly become a hero as well by landing on Titan's surface.
Atmosphere of Titan

So you may seen how we are approaching to infinity in science. And really it's truly fascinating.

In one of posts we have also discussed about how Cassini given tribute to that mad philosphers. ( Read that post too) So Cassini really educate as well as inspires us. We also never forget the deeds of our past scientests who opened this world for us. To explore explore and explore forever. That's what we made up for.☺

This is really showing that we never lose our hopes and always keep exploring that's why we are unique.
